To assess level 25(OH)D and 1,25(OH)2D hospitalized patients cholecalciferol effect on metabolites dynamic. Materials methods. Group 1 (n = 22) bolus therapy at a total dose 100,000 IU. 2 did not receive supplementation. Serum levels estimated for each group first ninth day hospitalization. Results. On hospitalization serum demonstrated 45.8 % rise 1, while there was decrease by 17.9%. At same time, dynamic evaluation 1.25(OH)2D show any differences between groups, pairwise comparison days revealed an increase active metabolite concentration (p < 0.001) both groups. Conclusion. Such parameters may be associated with 1α-hydroxylase activity alteration. Thus, regardless status during could explained course or concomitant corticosteroid medication.
